What Sells First in Our Own Retail Stores
What Sells First in Our Own Retail Stores

Most jewelry factories never see a customer. We run six retail stores of our own, which means we watch the last three feet of the sale — the part where someone picks a piece up, or does not.

What the store teaches that the factory cannot

  • Customers touch before they look — weight and surface feel influence the decision before visual judgment even starts.
  • Trying-on friction — the wear on store samples is the most direct real-world durability test there is.
  • The question customers ask most — "will this discolor?" is far more frequent than any design question.
  • Placement matters — the same piece at different shelf heights gets picked up at visibly different rates.

Store samples are our durability test field

Samples worn and handled by customers for months expose wear points more honestly than any lab test. That feedback flows straight back into product changes — reinforcing high-friction areas, changing clasp construction.

What sells online is not always what sells in-store

  • Strong in-store: pieces with weight, details that need close looking, obvious material presence.
  • Strong online: pieces with clear silhouettes, high photo recognition, an obvious concept.

For buyers, the lesson is to separate your channel standards — one set of criteria for catalog photos does not fit both channels.

What this means for B2B buyers

When you ask us "will this sell", the answer is not a guess. We can tell you how the style actually performs in our own stores.

What This Means for Your Order

When you shortlist designs from our catalog, ask which ones our own stores reorder. It is a different answer from "which ones look good", and it is free to ask.
